Restaurant Website
A concept website for an independent restaurant — appetite-first photography, menus that read beautifully on a phone, and reservations one tap from everywhere.

The Challenge
What This Project Explores.
Most restaurant websites fail at the two things guests actually visit for: seeing the menu and booking a table. Menus hide in PDFs; reservations route through third-party platforms with the restaurant's brand nowhere in sight. This concept explores a site that makes hunger and booking the entire experience.
Objectives
- Make the menu instantly readable on mobile without downloads or pinch-zooming
- Keep a reservation action visible at every scroll position
- Convey the room's atmosphere before a guest ever arrives
- Present hours, location, and parking so clearly that no one needs to call to ask
Strategy
The Thinking Behind the Build.
- 1
Open with atmosphere: full-width photography of dishes and the dining room set the tone immediately
- 2
Build the menu as structured, styled page content — searchable, accessible, effortless to update
- 3
Anchor a reservation button in the navigation and repeat it after each section
- 4
Design an evening-warm visual identity that mirrors the in-person experience

The Result
Final Experience and Outcome.
What the final experience delivers
A guest checks the site from their phone, sees tonight's menu in seconds, feels the room before arriving, and books a table in a few taps — with the restaurant's own brand carrying the whole journey rather than a third-party widget.
Outcome
The concept sharpened our hospitality playbook: menu readability and one-tap booking are treated as the core product of a restaurant site, with everything else in service of them.
