Our Process

A Clear Path from Idea to Implementation.

Seven stages, each with a defined purpose, visible deliverables, and your approval before the next begins. Here's exactly how a project with NYZ Digitals runs.

Why a Process Matters

Good Outcomes Are Designed, Not Hoped For.

Most digital projects go wrong in predictable ways: unclear scope, silent weeks, surprise changes, and a launch that nobody quite tested. Our seven-stage process exists to remove those failure points — every stage has a purpose, an output you can see, and a checkpoint where you approve before we continue.

The same structure applies whether we're building a website, an automation system, or a marketing campaign — only the deliverables change.

The Seven Stages

From First Conversation to Continuous Improvement.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the business, audience, challenges, processes, and goals.

    What you experience

This stage is a conversation, not a questionnaire. We ask about your customers, how enquiries arrive today, which tasks eat your team's time, and what a genuinely good outcome would look like. You talk about your business; we listen and map.

    What we deliver

You receive a written summary of goals, audience, current systems, and constraints — the shared foundation every later decision refers back to.

  2. 02

    Define

Clarify scope, requirements, deliverables, technology, schedule, and success criteria.

    What you experience

We turn the discovery findings into a concrete plan: exactly what will be built, on which platforms, by when, and how we'll judge whether it worked. Nothing proceeds until you've reviewed and approved this document.

    What we deliver

A clear scope and schedule with named deliverables, chosen technology, and agreed success criteria — so there are no surprises mid-project.

  3. 03

    Design

Create strategy, workflows, interfaces, content structures, and prototypes.

    What you experience

You see the project take shape before anything is coded: campaign strategy, workflow maps, page structures, and visual prototypes. Feedback rounds are built in, and revisions happen here — where changes are cheap.

    What we deliver

Approved designs, workflow diagrams, and content structures that act as the blueprint for the build stage.

  4. 04

    Build

Develop the website, automation, integrations, or campaign system.

    What you experience

Heads-down implementation with regular progress updates. You can preview work as it comes together, and questions are flagged early rather than saved for a big reveal.

    What we deliver

The working system — website, automations, integrations, or campaigns — built to the approved designs on a staging environment you can review.

  5. 05

    Test

Check usability, performance, forms, workflows, data handling, and responsive behaviour.

    What you experience

Before anything goes live, we walk through the system the way your customers and your team will: submitting forms, triggering automations, checking every screen size. You're invited to test alongside us.

    What we deliver

A tested, verified system plus a record of what was checked — usability, speed, forms, workflows, data handling, and responsive behaviour.

  6. 06

    Launch

Deploy the project and complete final setup.

    What you experience

Launch day is planned, not improvised: DNS, analytics, tracking, redirects, and integrations are switched over in a defined order, with a rollback plan just in case. We stay close through the first days live.

    What we deliver

The live system, final configuration, credentials and access handed to you, and a short guide to what was set up where.

  7. 07

    Improve

Review performance and identify future optimization opportunities.

    What you experience

After launch we review real behaviour against the success criteria set in Define. You get an honest read on what's working, what isn't, and what's worth improving next — without pressure to buy more.

    What we deliver

A plain-language performance review with prioritized, realistic recommendations for the next round of improvements.

Process in Practice

What Makes It Work

Structure Is Nothing Without Communication.

  • 1

    A predictable communication cadence

Progress updates arrive on a regular schedule in plain language: what was done, what's next, and what we need from you. You never have to chase for status.

  • 2

    A single point of contact

You work with one person who knows your whole project — strategy, design, and build — so nothing gets lost between departments and answers come fast.

  • 3

    Defined approval points

Scope, designs, and the final build each get an explicit sign-off. Work only moves forward on what you've approved, which keeps revisions early and inexpensive.
